As I’m sure you have heard it takes 300+ streams on most platforms to earn $1. Spotify just announced that in 2024 it will be paying artists less for their music. Any track that does not receive 1,000 streams per year will not receive royalties. Meaning Spotify will be holding royalties from artists for a year and smaller artists will make NOTHING.
